What is filler?

The most popular filler used and certified safe today is hyaluronic acid , a substance found naturally in our bodies that helps retain moisture, making the skin elastic and firm. As we age, the amount of HA in the body decreases, causing wrinkles and sagging skin. HA Filler injections are a way to replenish the missing substance to the skin.

In addition to HA, there are other types of fillers such as Calcium Hydroxylapatite (CaHA) or

Poly-L-Lactic Acid (PLLA), a biostimulator that focuses on long-term collagen stimulation.

What problems can fillers help solve?

  • Nasolabial folds: Reduce the depth of the nasolabial folds, making the face look younger.

  • Marginal grooves/drooping corners of the mouth: Lift the corners of the mouth and reduce the deep grooves in this area.

  • Wrinkles around the eyes: Helps reduce crow's feet, wrinkles under the eyes.

  • Forehead groove, frown line: Helps to smooth the skin.

  • Under the eyes: Solve the problem of dark circles, sunken eyes, and hollows under the eyes, making the eyes look brighter.

  • Sunken Temples: Fill in sunken temples, making the face look fuller and more balanced.

  • Sunken Cheeks: Restores fullness to sunken cheeks, giving the face a youthful and radiant look.

  • Chin: Enhance the chin to make it look longer and slimmer, to get a V-shape, or adjust the chin to be balanced with the face.

  • Lips: Add volume to plump lips, solve thin lips, and adjust the shape of the lips to be beautiful.

  • Nose: Adjust the bridge of the nose to be higher or the tip of the nose to look lifted (but rhinoplasty surgery gives better results in the long term)

  • Face frame: Fill in the face frame to make it look sharper and more dimensional.

  • Hydration: Some HA fillers can be injected as a “skin booster” to increase overall skin hydration and elasticity.

  • Reduce acne scars: In some cases, fillers can be used to fill in shallow acne scars.
